So… how did we get here?
It’s taken quite a while and we’ve had a few twists and turns along the way. But isn’t that the best kind of journey to have? Shouldn’t we celebrate the dead ends and failed dreams just as much as the successes? We’re here to celebrate all the continued support we have had from our friends and family as we back track, retrace, and lay down in defeat occasionally, and then ultimately try something new. Thank you!
Both Justin and I have been making things since long before we met, long before we started a family, and certainly long before we began making jewelry. Slowly we’ve been picking up on each other’s crafts over the last few years: Justin’s work has gotten smaller and my work more centered around wood. I like to think we have found a lovely little glade in the woods where we can make something beautiful together and then of course come home to our own projects and musings. Someday Justin will write a book and maybe at some point I’ll run out of moss and mushrooms to glue together.
As we start this particular part of the journey together we hope to continue to travel the same way with compassion for our mistakes and support from our friends and family. We welcome guidance and are excited to celebrate the successes.
